Business and Professional Breakfast

Picture
For the eighteenth year, the business community gathered to see our students, share a meal, and see one of their own honored.  Howard Wilde, owner of Jake’s Radiator, was the recipient of the business award for his service to our school in many capacities.  For the first time and individual was honored for a professional service, this was Larry Opper.  These two fine men have dedicated many hours of service over many, many years to Norwalk Catholic School, St. Paul High, and FCEDO.

Many of our students were showcased at the event.  Senior, Alex Rospert,     Student Body President and Student Ambassador, delivered the opening prayer, Tory Bleile, 6th grader, shared her moving God, Flag, and Country presentation about the American Flag, the SPH Guitar Ensemble, directed by Juli Burt,    entertained all that were in attendance.  Matt Fair, the new development director, shared his passion for the students at our school from his point of view as an alumnus, former teacher, and now development director.  Sue Riley presented the Tradition of Service Awards to Mr. Wilde and Mr. Opper.

Norwalk Catholic School counts on the generosity of our businesses to make Catholic education a strong and critical presence in our community.
